How the numbers are meant
Deposits are what left your wallet; withdrawals are what actually arrived (enter them net of fees). Net deposits are not automatically losses: as long as operators hold a balance for you, that money is yours - add balance snapshots and the journal separates "still held by operators" from "actually lost". A snapshot counts as the state when you record it: enter it after all of that day's deposits and withdrawals - flows strictly after the snapshot day adjust the balance, same-day flows are treated as already reflected (record a fresh snapshot after a later same-day cashout). USD values are whatever the amount was worth at the time - ZEC price moves are not gambling results.
Limits and honesty
The monthly limit compares this month's deposits against the number you set - deposits, not net, because a budget is about what leaves your wallet. If it fires: that is the moment to stop, not to chase. Help with gambling problems: responsible gambling page.
Privacy, precisely
Default storage is the browser tab's session storage - close the tab and it is gone. Opt-in storage ("keep on this device") uses localStorage in this browser profile only. Shared device? Use the default and export what you want to keep. We never see any of it: no transmission, no visit count on this page, no cookies.
